(Senior) Full Stack Developer (Node.js, Vue.js, PSQL, AWS)
Hello and welcome to start your next journey with Sellforte! đ
We are a fast-growing team of 30+ exceptionally talented people and our story will be something you don't want to miss! In the last 7 years, we have built the world's best analytics SaaS solution (demo here) for measuring and improving marketing effectiveness. It's used by leading brands ranging from fashion retail (such as C&A, Decathlon) to telcos (such as Telenor, more logos here).
Right now, we're entering the next chapter in our journey. After building the analytics core of the product, it's time for us to dramatically enhance the user experience of the product in many fronts. We are envisioning self-serve features that might be well established in many SaaS-products, but are new ideas in our reference group. For example, we will shorten product onboarding time from months to 1 day through self-serve data onboarding, model configuration flows, and other workflows. We will also enable customers to connect our product more deeply in their daily/weekly marketing routines with configurable dashboards, planning and optimization tools, etc.
đ We are looking for a full stack developer to be in the core team driving this new chapter of the company.
What will you do in this role?Â
In cooperation with the rest of the team, you will:
-
Build new major features: Develop new frontend workflows and backend services that are required by the company's new frontend-driven chapter. You will work together with our multidisciplinary team of professionals to build the specifications for the new views, develop them, test them, and iterate them together with our customers to match their needs. Our CTO, Teppo Luukkonen, will help you navigate our tech stack, as well as brainstorm the technological solutions and approaches.
- Improve existing views and functionalities:Â We constantly get customer feedback on our solution. You will work with our Customer Success team to develop the best ideas to the product.
-
Keep it running:Â There will be bugs and other issues and we need to fix them :)
What will make you successful in this role?
- Self-starter, takes ownership, proactive... whatever you want to call it, you are a person who takes the initiative instead of waiting for instructions. For example, if the specs are unclear, your first instinct is to discuss with the team and brainstorm together to clarify.
-
End-user mindset:Â We'll be honest - in the next 1-2 years, it's more important that we iterate the new user experiences as much with end-users as possible, than making the code & architecture perfect. We believe this will get us to the right end-product faster.
- Entrepreneurial:Â You are comfortable in an environment which is not yet ready. Not all processes are ready yet. This makes you excited because it's an opportunity for you to be part of building the company and its culture.
-
Full stack experience and a lot of time spent with modern JavaScript frameworks. Our tech stack is JavaScript, Vue.js, Node.js, PostgreSQL, AWS.
- Fluent communication skills in English.
