At Sellforte, we have spent the past eight years building a powerful Marketing Mix Modeling (MMM) SaaS platform that helps companies measure and improve the effectiveness of their marketing (demo here). Our solution is already trusted by leading brands such as Lidl, C&A, Decathlon and Telenor, with many more customers highlighted on our website.

We are now entering our next chapter. Having proven the value of our analytics, we are expanding the platform with features that make it easier to use and even more valuable for our customers. A key part of this is data. Our product depends on high quality data, and delivering and processing that data must be smooth and reliable both for our customers and for our team. This is where you come in.

The role

We’re looking for a (Senior) Data Engineer to strengthen our core product team and help build the foundation for this new phase of growth.

You’ll play a crucial role in:

• Developing and scaling our data connectors, enabling two-way interactions with customer systems.

• Ensuring our data pipelines are efficient, reliable, and scalable.

• Making data onboarding and processing simple, fast, and resilient.

• Building better tooling for data scientists to access and manipulate data.

• Improving engineering practices while maintaining and evolving our current infrastructure.      

 What we are looking for

• 3+ years of experience building and maintaining data infrastructure.

• Strong knowledge of Python (or another relevant programming language).

• Experience managing large-scale ETL processes.

• Hands-on experience with the AWS data stack and Linux environments.

• Familiarity with large-scale data warehouse technologies.

• Knowledge of build, deployment, and orchestration tools.

• Ability to think independently, innovate, and deliver.

• Fluent English communication skills.

Who you will work with

You will collaborate across the company:

• Core development team. This includes our founders and a team of software developers who turn ideas into features that customers and our team use every day. You will report to Ville Vierimaa, our Lead Developer for Data Engineering, who will be your manager and closest collaborator.

• Customer Success team. They act as the bridge between customer needs and product improvements.

• Customer Data Scientists. They build analytical capabilities on top of your pipelines and rely on the features you create in their daily work.
